New Decisions Taken Regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year at Our University

Based on the letter dated March 31, 2023, titled “New decision regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year” from the Higher Education Council Presidency Education-Teaching Department:
- Due to the allocation of student dormitories to earthquake victims, causing accommodation problems, all theoretical and practical courses in academic units (except those currently conducted face-to-face) will be conducted through distance education until April 24, 2023,
- Midterm exams for the spring semester in all our academic units (except for programs that grant special student rights and/or include practical training and are conducted face-to-face) will be conducted through distance education between April 08-16, 2023,
- 03 The “practices related to courses” postponed until April 03, 2023, can be conducted face-to-face within the spring semester, summer term, or the next academic term, or in the form of assignments, projects, etc., as determined by the academic units,
- In evaluations to be conducted; open-ended or multiple-choice online exams, assignments, online quizzes, projects, Learning Management System (LMS) activities, LMS usage analytics, and similar applications can be used,
- The method of education to be applied after April 24, 2023, will be evaluated by our University Senate and announced again at a later date,
As of April 03, 2023, exclusively for the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, it has been deemed appropriate to be implemented in our University with the Senate Decision dated March 31, 2023, and numbered 532/1.
Accordingly, as of April 03, 2023, in addition to the theoretical courses provided through UZEM, the courses with practical components will also be provided through UZEM, and the updated Weekly Course Schedule of our Faculty is attached. It is announced to our students taking courses through UZEM.
